" Hi! My name is Elia Constancio and I have known Kalani for the past 4 years. I came to his team when I was 15 years old. I was a pretty quiet, and nervous young girl looking for a new team to belong to. I was looking for a coach and team that I could grow and learn from. Kalani was my coach from that point on and for the 3 years after and I was so grateful for the time that I had him as my coach. The past two summers I've also been able to come and help lead his Above the Net clinics, and again have been so grateful because I enjoy being around Kalani, his staff, and of course all of the kids. Kalani helped shape me into the player that I became over the following years and pushed me to be the best version of myself that I could be. He helped me come out of my shell, learn how to become a strong and disciplined player, and he always believed in me. He truly cares for his players and for their futures."

" Hey my name is Eliza Presgrave and I played for Kalani for 4 years. I first met Kalani during my high school season at El Dorado and then played club for him for 4 years in a row. I now play at Sierra College and I could not be where I am today without him. He has not only taught me lessons in volleyball, but lessons in life. He has transformed me as a quiet, shy player, to an outgoing, loud player as well as a person. Above The Net has given me a home away from home, everyone I have met in that program has quickly become like a family to me. Along with friends, I have learned so many things I did not know about myself thanks to Kalani and Above The Net, he has pushed me and has believed in me every step of the way and has never given up on me. I could not ask for a better ohana to belong to. Every accomplishment I have achieved Kalani has been there in the corner cheering me on. I’ve never had a more caring coach or belonged to such an amazing club."
